Google IO Extended, Lagos GTUG takes the Co-Creation Hub to San Francisco
If you can’t attend the Google IO Event ( June 27 – 29 San Francisco, USA) in person, that’s no problem. The Lagos GTUG is organizing Google IO Extended that offers a way to still connect with other talented developers and watch the keynote and other sessions live.
Part viewing party and part community building, Google I/O Extended is a free event focused on livestreaming parts of Google I/O. It will also involve local demos and coding sessions aimed at strengthening the local developer community and refreshment as well.
This year’s Google I/O Extended is to hold it in collaboration with the Co-Creation Hub Nigeria. To indicate interest, please use the brief form here as this will greatly help us in planning for a successful event. You can also join gtug by registering here.
Given the acute time difference, venue limitation and also the need to ensure that the IO Extended event is devoid of tedium, tentative plans have been made only for Thursday June 28 (5:30pm – 7:30pm) and the agenda will include live streaming of the sessions listed below and preparations for the Google IO Develop for good hackathon.
Thursday June 28 | 5pm – 6pm
